‘Pop the question’ in style! Wales has plenty of scenic backdrops to propose to your other half.
Here are some ideas: 
- Reach for the stars – there are only eleven International Dark Sky Reserves and two of them are in Wales: Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park & Snowdonia National Park
- A hot air balloon ride over the picturesque Wye Valley
- A slow boat ride at Skomer island; you can sit peacefully amongst the wild flowers and clifftops
- Flashmob! There are thousands of male voice choirs in Wales, many of which are available to hire
- Fine dining – there are over nine Michelin star restaurants in Wales, so you can slip that ring into a bowl of something sweet

Now that the children are back in school, we’re already reminiscing about the fun memories that our groups encountered during August 2021 – it was great having you!
Extra-large holidays are set to increase as Brits invite an anchor of friends and family away with them, new research has revealed. Over 70% of UK adults say the events of the past 18 months have made them re-evaluate what is really important. In addition to this, over 60% said missing out on seeing family members in 2020 or 2021 has left them feeling keen to make up for lost time.
COVID-19 has driven a surge in outdoor activities within the UK as people have taken to green spaces and reconnected with nature. The pandemic has forced people to interact with familiar surroundings in new ways and heightened our appreciation of local parks, cycling routes and waterfalls.
Does your holiday wardrobe favour trainers and hiking boots over swimwear and flip flops? The good news is that you don’t have to travel to the end of the earth to get your adrenaline kicks. The UK has lots of natural landscapes that are ideal for outdoor adventures and sports, from sandy beaches and nature trails, to a bundle of stunning national parks. So, whether it’s Canyoning in the stunning Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons), Surfing in Cornwall or Rock Climbing in the Lake District, you can find any outdoor excursion imaginable right here.
As restrictions are easing, organised outdoor activities are now able to take place, alongside overnight stays for groups of six or two households. Hospitality venues can also reopen indoors as well as organised indoor sport.
We’re open for business and the first groups back have all told us they’ve had a great time. Good to know we haven’t become rusty and lost our touch!

Holiday firms are reporting a spike in bookings from people aged 50+ ‘Silver Tourists’ since the Covid-19 vaccination rollout began.
Even though we’re spending our Winter period in lockdown, we’re already taking bookings for family adventure breaks from April 2021. Needless to say… we’ll be delighted to welcome you back!
Even after recent Government announcements concerning the tightening of restrictions we are still open for business.
So this was the first full month of opening since lockdown and what a busy month it was.
The crowds have gone but not the scenery, excitement or the weather! Now is the perfect time to visit for an activity break.
