Let’s be honest, the Easter holidays can be a bit of a whirlwind. Between the sugar rushes, the family visits and the crowded trails, you might feel like you need a holiday just to recover from the holiday.
The good news? The crowds have headed home, the chocolate eggs have vanished from the shelves, and the Brecon Beacons (Bannau Brycheiniog) are just starting to wake up. We think the “post-Easter lull” is actually the best time to get outdoors. So, here’s why you should grab your gear and join us this spring:
1. Nature is Off the Scale
Right now, the landscape is shifting from brown to vibrant, electric green. The waterfalls are flowing at full tilt—perfect for Canyoning and the bluebells are starting to carpet the woods. It’s the most photogenic time of year to be out in the wild.
2. The Perfect “Goldilocks” Weather
It’s not too cold to move, and it’s not so hot that you’re melting under your helmet. Whether you’re Climbing, Caving, or Quad Biking, the crisp spring air provides the perfect temperature for high-octane activities.
3. More Space, More Pace
With the school holiday rush over, you get a more “VIP” feel. Enjoy quieter trails, less traffic on the rivers and that feeling of having the mountains all to yourself.

Don’t wait for the summer heatwave to get your blood pumping. We have weekend and midweek packages available throughout May and June, including accommodation at our purpose-built activity centre and bunkhouse.
