Valentines day is the most popular day of the year to propose. One man took it to the next level when he proposed to his girlfriend on a canyoning trip in Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) and the whole thing was caught on camera. You can’t fault the location but did she say yes?
What Is Canyoning
Canyoning in Wales is famously popular among thrill seekers because of its combination of rock climbing, water riding and waterfall jumping. It could be described as white water rafting, without the raft. With the help of our guides you slide, slip and float down gorges. This includes walking behind waterfalls and jumping off certain waterfalls.
About The Proposal
Dan took his girlfriend Yana on one of our high adrenaline canyoning trips with the intention of proposing to her at the final stage of the trip. He handed the precious ring to Dave (one of our guides) at the beginning of the trip. Dave kept it hidden until the end of the trip when he slipped it back to Dan and started filming the big moment.
