Adventure Britain Canyoning Competition – Terms & Conditions

Promoter:

The competition is promoted by Adventure Britain, a subsidiary of Call of the Wild Ltd, registered in the UK under company number 03529125, with a registered office at Ty Anturiaeth, 83 Church Rd, Seven Sisters, Neath, South Wales SA10 9DT.

Eligibility:

  • The competition is open to UK residents aged 18 and over.
  • The prize is valid for a group canyoning session for up to 12 people.
  • All participants must be aged 8 years or older on the day of the activity.
  • Employees of Call of the Wild Ltd or its subsidiaries, their immediate family members, or anyone else professionally connected with the competition are not eligible to enter.

How to Enter:

  • Entry is free and no purchase is necessary.
  • To enter, participants must sign up to the Adventure Britain mailing list.
  • Only one entry per person is permitted.
  • Entries must be received by 5pm on 31.07.2025. Entries received after this time will not be included.

Prize Details:

  • The prize consists of one canyoning session for up to 12 people with Adventure Britain.
  • All necessary safety equipment and wetsuits will be provided.
  • The prize does not include lunch, transport, or accommodation—these can be arranged separately at the winner’s cost.
  • The prize must be redeemed within 12 months of notification and is subject to availability and suitable weather conditions.
  • Booking must be made at least 4 weeks in advance.

Winner Selection & Notification:

  • The winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries.
  • The winner will be notified by email or direct message within 7 days of the competition closing.
  • If the winner does not respond within 7 days of being contacted, the promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner.

General Conditions:

  • The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other alternative.
  • The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition or these terms at any time without prior notice, if necessary due to circumstances beyond its control.
  • Participants are responsible for ensuring they and their guests are physically fit to participate in the activity and meet all safety requirements.
  • Any personal data provided will be used in accordance with the promoter’s Privacy Policy.

Liability:

Adventure Britain and Call of the Wild Ltd accept no responsibility for any loss, injury or damage suffered by the winner or their guests while participating in the prize experience, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.

Governing Law:

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
