Cheeky stags sent their groom on a 2,000-mile trip back from Spain reports “The Daily Mirror”
Iain Tate, 43, arrived in Marbella dressed in a black wig, pink top, matching dangle ear rings, leather skirt, fishnet stockings, and black handlebar moustache.
But he had to make it home on his own when the 11-man party paid £600 for his four-flight return via five countries.

Iain’s epic 26-hour journey took him on an 11am flight from Malaga to Dusseldorf in Germany (1,154 miles), Dusseldorf to the French capital Paris (256 miles), then Paris to Dublin (484 miles).
God knows the three-hour delay at Charles de Gaulle airport cost him dear as he missed his connecting 9.05pm flight home from Ireland to Leeds Bradford airport.
Another delayed departure meant all the available hotel rooms were booked.
“I had to book another flight to get a boarding card,” said Iain, tired after getting in from his last night out in Marbella at 6am on Monday, the day of his flights home.
“It cost £40 for the missed flight and about £100 for the new one.”
The Aftermath
He landed in the UK around 1pm on Tuesday – 26 hours after he set off from Spain – with mum-of-four Emma, 38, waiting to meet him.
“It should make for a good best man’s speech, but I felt like Judith Chalmers after all those air miles,” said Iain.
“Then they got me special dissolving shorts for the pool in Marbella.
“The stitching disappears and they float off when you are wearing them.
“So I had to get out with everything on show. Getting home wasn’t much better.”
