Full Programme Overview
Day 1: Friday – Arrival & Relaxation
- 4:00 PM – Arrival at the Centre
- Time to settle in, relax, and explore the surroundings.
- 5:30 PM – Evening Relaxation & Meet-and-Greet
- Gather around the campfire to meet fellow participants and your retreat hosts.
- 6:30 PM – Gentle Walk to the Cribarth
- Join us for a gentle, scenic walk from the centre to the Cribarth, known as the Sleeping Giant, a nearby hill with stunning views of the surrounding landscape. This walk will allow you to stretch your legs, breathe in fresh mountain air, and start to unwind while enjoying the beauty of Bannau Brycheiniog.
- 7:30 PM – Dinner
- Enjoy a delicious dinner together at the centre.
- 8:30 PM – Campfire Stories & Star Gazing
- End the night around the campfire with warm drinks, storytelling, and star gazing under the clear Brecon Beacons dark skies.
Day 2: Saturday – Explore & Rejuvenate
- 8:00 AM – Hearty Breakfast
- Enjoy a hearty breakfast to fuel up ahead of the day
- 9:30 AM – Waterfall Walks in Bannau Brycheiniog
- Embark on a guided walk through some of the most breathtaking waterfalls in the Brecon Beacons. Connect with nature as you feel the spray of the falls, hear the soothing sound of water, and absorb the serenity of the landscape.
- 11:00 AM – Wild Swimming
- A refreshing morning dip for a wild swimming experience that connects you directly to nature, invigorates the senses and rejuvenates the soul.
- 1:00 PM –Lunch
- Refuel with a delicious lunch back at the centre
- 2:30 PM – Mindfulness and Meditation
- A gentle guided meditation to help you unwind and centre after the morning activities, led by Janet Anthony-Buck.
- 4:00 PM – Free Time: Relax & Reflect
- Take time to relax at your own pace. Optional activities include reading, journaling, nature walks, or simply resting in the peaceful environment.
- 6:30 PM – Evening Yoga
- Unwind with a restorative yoga session to promote deep relaxation and stress relief, led by Janet Anthony-Buck.
- 8:00 PM – Dinner
- Savour a meal together at the centre.
- 9:30 PM – Campfire & Reflection
- Gather around the campfire to reflect on the day, share stories, and enjoy the warmth of the fire under the stars.
Day 3: Sunday – Reflect & Recharge
- 8:30 AM – Energising Breakfast
- Fuel up with a hearty breakfast.
- 9:30 AM – Walk to Saith Maen
- Set out on a guided walk to Saith Maen, a historic and mystical standing stone circle located deep in the Brecon Beacons. This ancient site offers a serene and contemplative experience, with beautiful views of the surrounding hills and valleys.
- 11:00 AM – Closing Circle & Reflection
- Gather for a final reflection circle to share insights, intentions, and takeaways from the weekend. This is a time to express gratitude and set intentions for
returning to daily life.

Janet Anthony-Buck: Guest Yoga and Meditation Teacher
With over 25 years of teaching experience, Janet Anthony-Buck brings a lifetime of yoga practice to her sessions. Trained by the British Wheel of Yoga and specialising in yoga therapy for mental health, Janet’s teaching focuses on Hatha-based yoga combined with Somatic movement education. Her classes emphasise slow, mindful movements designed to develop self-awareness, strength, and resilience.
A passionate advocate for the restorative power of nature, Janet feels most at home in the Brecon Beacons, where she enjoys walking the mountains with her dog and practising yoga outdoors. Janet is excited to share her love for yoga and mindfulness with guests, helping them connect with both themselves and the beautiful environment around them.
Our Location:
Our 72 acre centre is set in the stunning Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park – the nearest wilderness National Park to London. Although the setting is rural, we are only 20 minutes off the M4, and fast direct rail are available from London and the Midlands. The centre is also only 1 hour from Cardiff. The centre has been converted from a 200 year old, Welsh mountain farmhouse. The Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) is one of Wales’ 3 National Parks. The Park is famous for its outstanding natural beauty – with mountains, waterfalls and caves. Our base within the Park provides a wonderful natural playground with its untamed environment of rugged peaks, lakes and green valleys.
Our Accommodation:
Our onsite bunkhouse provides a comfortable and welcoming retreat after a day of adventure and relaxation. Designed with simplicity and comfort in mind, the bunkhouse offers shared accommodations with cozy bunk beds, warm blankets, and ample storage space.
Cost
The cost of the weekend is £365 per person – with all food, accommodation and activities included.
