A value for money adventure weekend in Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons). You can choose other activities instead of canyoning such as quad biking, caving, climbing and more just let us know. However canyoning is the bucket list activity and one referred to by Rough Guides as one of the top wet and wild activities in the World!

You can change these activities if they don't suit your requirements. For instance you can substitute quad biking with climbing, caving, paintballing or clay pigeon shooting to name but a few. Please note if you decide to change the choice of activities it may impact price and transport options.

Canyoning

Call of the Wild’s Adventure Britain are the leading provider of Canyoning in the UK. Really test yourself by white water rafting without the raft! A high adrenaline day and one not to be missed. The Lonely Planet Travel Guide describing it as a must do activity being up there with the best wet and wild experiences in the world!

Clay Pigeon Shooting

Clay pigeon shooting involves clay circular targets, known as clay pigeons being catapulted into the air to imitate pigeons, or shot along the ground, to imitate rabbits, by ‘traps’, small machines that propel the clays at speed. Competitors then attempt to shoot the clays pigeons using shotguns. This is a great group activity.

Accommodation

You will stay at a luxury hotel on the edge of Swansea City Centre (Subject to availability). This is one of our most popular venues for our groups who choose stay with Call of the Wild and remains a firm favourite for its friendly, lively and hospitable atmosphere. A great venue for a group weekend. Superbly appointed rooms with fantastic bar and restaurant facilities this is the place to be if you want to treat the group. You get access to all the new health and fitness facilities on offer which include pool, sauna, jacuzzi and steam room. It’s also within easy reach of the vibrant Swansea nightlife. The hotel offers twin rooms. It is situated just a few minutes off the M4 and close to the mainline train stations.

Transport

To and from activity venues. It’s difficult enough in an unfamiliar place to find a venue with a map or sat nav when you have a group of loud lads in the car. Therefore this option makes sense.

Evening Options

Swansea bars, clubs and restaurants

This will be a night out in bay side city of Swansea – the nightlife hub for South Wales. A wide choice of pubs, clubs and bars to choose from. Most have late licences so no need for queue jumping and few problems getting access for groups.

Brewery Tour

Take a tour of a local well known brewery. Sample a range of beers, lagers and ciders on the house. You’ll be a convert to this local tipple by the time you leave. (Minimum group size 12)

Casino

Experience the usual suspects – roulette, black jack and poker. A host can be arranged to teach you the ropes before you plunge into the live games. A great evening should you choose to give it a try.

Whisky Distillery Tour

Your guide will take you through the malt whisky production process. They will describe the stills and distillation process used by Scottish, Irish and Welsh distillers and learn why this particular process is so unique. Learn about different types of whisky from malts, Bourbons and Tennessee whiskies. Have some fun and games nosing and tasting before viewing the exhibition area and sampling more products.
