It is getting increasingly difficult to spend quality time with growing children. It also seems that year on year children become increasingly divorced from the outdoor environment with their world becoming ever more sanitised and risk averse. For instance whatever happened to traditional activities such as climbing a tree? Adventure Britain have therefore come up with a Summer activity break during the school holidays just for father and sons set in the stunning natural adventure playground, Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park.

Father and Son Activity Packages
It’s a difficult task trying to find something to excite an inspire young boys in this iPod and computer gaming era. We have arranged hundreds of activity breaks over the last 18 years and have the experience, local knowledge and the resources to ensure you have the best time possible at value for money prices. You don’t want the hassle of pulling everything together which is why we have put together this all inclusive package which include your accommodation, activities, all your food and transport whilst with us.

Day one
- Arrive late morning at our centre in Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) (N.B. No lunch provided on day 1)
- Met by our staff and briefed on the programme and kit issued
- Mountain walk with our instructors and an overnight camp under canvas
- Navigation skills, how to read a map and use a compass lessons with our instructors
- Camp craft and cooking on camping stoves
Day two
- Walk to centre for breakfast
- Follow our staff to the gorge walking venue
- Packed lunch
- Return to our centre
- Under canvas and learn about safely lighting camp fires & BBQ
Day three
- Breakfast
- Depart

Where Will We be Staying?
The location for our father and son weekend is on the southern edge of Bannau Brycheiniog, Brecon Beacons National Park, 15 miles north of Swansea, close to the village of Abercrave and the area to the east towards Ystradfellte.
A full kit list will be issued on booking for your father and son activity break but for guidance you will need to bring a rucksack and sleeping bag.
Suitable for children aged from 7 to 16.

Packages cost £375 for the father and son combined (not per person) for two nights and the itinerary of activities outlined above.
