Members of the public have been selected to go on once in a lifetime expeditions to some of the remotest parts of the World including Nepal, Uganda, Libya, Venezuela and Papua New Guinea. They will journey through extreme environments such as dense jungle, parched desert, high mountains and navigate little explored rivers.

Call of the Wild were asked to help design and deliver these 5 shows in South Wales based at their training centre in Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park. Each of the selection shows was themed to tie in with the expedition the individuals would go on. These programmes involved fun and demanding challenges putting the candidates under pressure seeking to highlight personality and behaviour. The first show goes out on 14th January 2008
