Father and Son Activity Packages

It’s a difficult task trying to find something to excite an inspire young boys in this iPod and computer gaming era. We have arranged hundreds of activity breaks over the last 12 years and have the experience, local knowledge and the resources to ensure you have the best time possible at value for money prices.You don’t want the hassle of pulling everything together which is why we have put together this all inclusive package which include your accommodation, activities, all your food and transport whilst with us.

Date

This programme is scheduled to take place on Wednesday 15th August to Friday 17th August. If you don’t want to take part in the whole 3 days then you can just do the gorge walking activity on the Thursday.

Sample Itinerary

Wednesday

-Arrive Wednesday afternoon at Call of the Wild centre in Brecon Beacons

-Met by Call of the Wild staff and briefed on the programme and kit issued.

-Walk into mountains with Instructors for overnight camp under canvass

-Navigation skills, how to read a map and use a compass lessons with Instructors

-Camp craft and cooking on camping stoves

Thursday

-Breakfast

-Walk to the pick up point for transfer to gorge walking venue

-Packed lunch

-Picked up after gorge walking and returned to our centre

-Under canvass and learn about safely lighting camp fires, preparing and cooking your food over a camp fire

Friday

-Breakfast

-Depart

Where Will We be Staying?

The location for our father and son weekend is on the southern edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park, 15 miles north of Swansea, close to the village of Abercrave and the area to the east towards Ystradfellte.

A full kit list will be issued on booking but for guidance you will need to bring a rucksack and sleeping bag.

Suitable for children aged from 8 to 16.

What is it Going to Cost me?

Packages cost £250 for the father and son combined (not per person) for two nights and the itinerary of activities outlined above.
