Great Ideas for Family Summer Holidays in the UK
It is getting increasingly difficult to spend quality time with growing children. It also seems that year on year children become increasingly divorced from the outdoor environment with their world becoming ever more sanitised and risk averse. For instance whatever happened to traditional activities such as climbing a tree? Adventure Britain have therefore come up with a Summer activity break during the school holidays just for father and sons set in the stunning natural adventure playground, the Brecon Beacons National Park.
In 2018 96.5% of our customers rated their activities with us good or excellent in terms of their overall experience and value for money.

”I thought the Father & Son break was fantastic. We had never done anything like it before, but our inexperience wasn’t an issue and we were made to feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. The whole break was incredibly well organised. The instructors were friendly and encouraging. I would highly recommend it”. S. Corbett – 2019
”We all really enjoyed our experience this year. The boys enjoyed being with other kids their ages and exploring together. Loved the hike and map reading, loved the gorge walking and climbing. I thought the crate building was genius. All the instructors were great, confident, clearly very experienced and fun. Took the Dads a bit longer to warm up, but that’s just grownups – right? It was nice to chat with everyone and share parenting experiences. Lots of similarities which was comforting. Great trip. Thoroughly enjoyed. Not sure on our summer plans in 2020 yet, but would certainly recommend if asked”. A. Odds – 2019
