What is a Rigid Inflatable Boat?
A rigid inflatable boat or RIB is a light weight high speed boat made from a solid shaped hull but with flexible tubes. RIBS are capable of speeds in excess of 30 knots which is faaassst!.
What Will I Be Doing During the RIB Session?
You’ll travelling around the Gower coast, the UK’s first designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. You won’t be travelling at 30 knots you’ll be pleased to hear but will be travelling at speed. You’ll have the opportunity to take photos of the wildlife, watch birds and seals in their natural habitat or just admire the spectacular coastline.
Who Can Do the RIB Ride?
RIB rides are suitable for all ages and abilities. All ages find the experience exhilarating.
Where Can I do the Ride?
Gower Peninsula, Swansea. There are a number of famous features which you can take in such as Port Eynon, Worms Head or Mumbles to Three Cliffs Bay.
Duration/Length of the Caving session?
This is variable depending on the size, nature of the group, nature of the event and the prevailing weather conditions on the day. A session can be tailored to meet your groups requirements. A session can be anything from 2 to 3 hours to a full day.
When can I do it?
We operate sessions in Wales all year.

What will I have to Wear for my Session?
A full kit list will be issued upon booking however we will supply you with lifejackets and waterproof jackets. You must bring warm clothing.
Good Combinations of Activities
RIB rides are suitable for combination with other activities for weekends or longer duration visits. It can be combined with any of the range of activities available whether it be canyoning, gorge walking, climbing, quad biking, paintball and clays. Can I Use a Camera?
Yes you can. Why not use our photographer? Wouldn’t it be great to capture the stag parties to show at the reception, what about photos of that memorable birthday party or outdoor team building event?
