Where Can I do Mountain walking?

Call of the Wild’s mountain walks take place in the Brecon Beacons National Park, the nearest wilderness National Park to London and the South East. Hiking in the Park is a great experience as it has some classic guided mountain walks from river side to high peak. We tend to concentrate our mountain and hill walks in the Central and Western Beacons. We also use the Gower Peninsula, which was the first place in the UK to be designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, which has some fantastic coastal walks and world famous beaches . Walking Wales is an exceptional experience. there is nothing more rewarding than walking up through the hills on a frosty morning to emerge above the clouds with bright blue skies and look back down on the mist covered valleys below. I want to be out there now not writing this!

Duration/Length of the Mountain Walking?

This is variable depending on the size, nature of the group, nature of the event and the prevailing weather conditions on the day. As a guide, the mountain or hill walking session would normally last around 3 – 4 hours. The walk can be tailored to meet your needs and abilities to ensure you get the maximum amount of enjoyment out of the day.

“To be honest we don’t think you can improve. We had a great time from start from finish.” Vivienne Evans
