What is Canoeing?
A long, narrow watercraft with sharp ends. It is usually propelled by means of paddles, although sails and, more recently, outboard motors are also used.
The majority of canoes made today, however, are manufactured of a tough but light aluminium alloy. This type of canoe contains an air pocket in either end to ensure flotation. Modern canoes are also made of fibreglass or plastic. They usually accommodate two paddlers kneeling, propelling the canoe with a single bladed paddles.
What Will I Be Doing During the Canoeing Session?
The paddler faces forward, grasping the single bladed paddle and dipping the blade to propel yourself forward. Our qualified instructors will give you suitable tuition during the session to ensure you get the most out of the activity.

” is just so easy to use that people actually use it. That may sound rather simplistic, but it is really a significant differentiator for Basecamp compared to competing solutions regardless of scale, functionality or cost.”
